After three decades since its initial release, Mantra cemented Shelter’s place as one of the most forward-thinking bands in hardcore. Mixing melody, speed, and spiritual reflection, the record stood out as a defining moment for the genre and opened the door for a more reflective and conscious side of the genre.
Mantra’s 30th anniversary vinyl edition honors its legacy while breathing a bit of life into its presentation. The original audio remains untouched, preserving the sound that made it timeless, while the packaging has been reimagined in collaboration with the band, preserving the energy and intention that made the band's major label debut a cornerstone release for the scene. Featuring the original front cover artwork, a newly designed gatefold layout, this pressing stands as a fitting tribute for its milestone year.
