Twelve tracks centered on Marcos Valle's songwriting and singing, with bossa nova, samba, jazz, and Brazilian pop flowing together naturally.
A strong entry point into Valle's catalog as well as a useful companion to his more heavily arranged and groove-driven records.
For fans of: João Donato, Azymuth, Arthur Verocai.
Valle's melodic sense remains the main event, while the arrangements stay nimble enough to move between intimate songwriting and breezy Brazilian rhythm. Marcos Valle is one of those artists you simply can’t overlook if you have even a passing interest in Brazilian music. Whether your taste leans toward bossa jazz, samba, psychedelic folk, or modern soul, Valle has surely recorded a great album for you. By the late 1960s he had already released enough outstanding records to secure a place among the greatest Brazilian artists of all time, but fortunately his career didn’t stop there. He has continued recording fabulous albums over the following decades, right up to the present day.
