This tribute brings a wide group of singers and players into the rhythmic world Clifton Chenier helped define. Accordion, guitar and an insistent dance pulse connect the performances, while the guest voices bring their own phrasing to the material. The emphasis stays on musical exchange, making the collection feel like a lively gathering around songs with deep local roots.
