Rare live recordings from the New York garage-rock band's early years, assembled around songs performed just once.
Includes Help You Ann, Louie Louie, Hidden Charms, and Baby Please Don't Go.
A raw snapshot of the group's fuzz-guitar attack and irreverent approach to rock-and-roll standards.
Just Once opens the vault on The Fuzztones' unpredictable live repertoire, bringing together performances that slipped outside their regular set. Rather than a conventional greatest-hits collection, it documents the band's appetite for obscure garage tunes, familiar rock-and-roll songs, and spur-of-the-moment surprises. The performances preserve the grit and loose energy of the clubs where their reputation took shape.
