For fans of: Love, The Pretty Things, Jefferson Airplane
Strange Days deepens the Doors' atmosphere through unusual keyboard colors, elastic rhythms and songs that can feel intimate and disorienting at once. Short, tightly shaped pieces lead into the open-ended drama of When the Music's Over. Morrison's vocal presence holds the changing moods together, while the instruments leave enough space for small details to acquire an outsized effect.
