• Pressed on white vinyl.
• Third album from the Helsinki quartet led by drummer and composer Okko Saastamoinen.
• Features Jarno Tikka on saxophone, Toomas Keski-Säntti on piano, and Mikael Saastamoinen on bass.
• "Anima," "Arvo," and "Vanhatie" reveal the group's range from punchy interplay to reflective melody.

For fans of: Nordic acoustic jazz, Linda Fredriksson, and melodic small-group improvisation.

Liesu pairs clear, memorable themes with a responsive acoustic ensemble. OK:KO gives its compositions space to breathe, letting piano, saxophone, bass, and drums move between lyrical passages and more unsettled rhythmic exchanges. The music reflects a contemporary jazz outlook with a strong sense of place and an affection for melody.

The quartet's interaction keeps the album lively even in its quietest moments. Rural Finnish landscapes and folk-song sensibilities provide a useful way into its atmosphere, while the playing remains exploratory and alert. It is a rewarding small-group record that balances accessibility with the pleasure of musicians following an idea beyond its initial shape.
