Miles Davis “Merci, Miles! Live at Vienne” 2xLP

Merci, Miles! Live at Vienne puts the focus on trumpet-led modern jazz, from hard bop and modal playing to orchestral and electric experimentation.

• The late-period Davis band combines trumpet with electric guitar, keyboards, bass, drums, and percussion in a dense funk-jazz setting.
• The concert captures the long, groove-based arrangements and sharply amplified sound of Davis's final touring years.
• It offers a very different Miles Davis from the acoustic classics, emphasizing rhythm, electronics, and band texture.

For fans of John Coltrane, Herbie Hancock, and Wayne Shorter.
