Fugazi "13 Songs" CD

• Combines Fugazi’s first two EPs, 7 Songs and Margin Walker, on one CD.
• Includes “Waiting Room,” “Suggestion,” “Bad Mouth,” “Margin Walker,” and “Promises.”
• Joe Lally’s distinctive bass lines and Brendan Canty’s drumming drive the band’s early blend of punk force and spacious grooves.

For fans of: Rites of Spring, Embrace, Jawbox

13 Songs traces the first recorded steps of Fugazi’s distinctive sound. MacKaye and Picciotto turn direct lyrics and contrasting voices into something both confrontational and inviting. The bass carries as much weight as the guitar, and every pause sets up the next surge. From “Waiting Room” onward, these songs make a strong case for starting at the beginning.
