Welcome to the haunting, emotionally charged world of Cindytalk. Camouflage Heart is a seminal release that blends post-punk intensity with abstract sonic textures and stark lyrical beauty. Originally released in 1984, this debut album captures the raw expression of Gordon Sharp—best known for his vocal contributions to This Mortal Coil—and marks a singular moment in experimental music history. With themes of alienation, identity, and inner conflict, Camouflage Heart stands as a fearless exploration of vulnerability and resistance within the industrial and avant-garde underground.
A cult classic among fans of 4AD, Cocteau Twins, and early industrial pioneers, Camouflage Heart offers a deeply immersive experience that defies easy categorization. Its influence can be felt across decades of experimental and alternative music, making it an essential piece for collectors and listeners drawn to the darker, more introspective edge of sound and art. Discover the uncompromising vision of Cindytalk—where post-punk poetry meets emotional dissonance.
