Blur “Parklife” CD

• Blur's 1994 studio album.
• Includes "Girls & Boys," "Parklife," "End of a Century" and "To the End."
• Character-driven songs combine guitar pop, dance rhythms and changing instrumental colors.

For fans of: Pulp, The Kinks, Supergrass

Parklife moves through a crowded set of scenes, voices and moods without losing the personality of the band playing them. Blur can turn a sharp guitar figure or a springy rhythm into a pop hook, then shift toward something more reflective. The album's variety gives its portraits depth, letting humor, restlessness and melancholy occupy the same musical landscape.
