aus isoda "Interwoven" (Transparent Sea Green Vinyl) LP

• Pressed on transparent sea green vinyl.
• Collaboration between Japanese ambient composer Ken-ichiro Isoda and electronic producer aus, Yasuhiko Fukuzono.
• Synthesizers and electronic processing meet piano, wind instruments, harp, and field recordings.
• The nine-piece album develops from an exchange of sketches and sounds between Tokyo and Hachijo Island.

For fans of: Hiroshi Yoshimura, Satoshi Ashikawa, Midori Takada, and Brian Eno.

Interwoven brings two generations of Japanese ambient music into a quiet, detailed exchange. Isoda's acoustic writing and aus' electronic textures create a landscape of lingering piano, soft synthesis, and environmental sound. Flute and saxophone appear like passing traces of breath, adding a tactile human presence to the atmosphere.

The project began with images of water, seas, and islands, then grew into a freer conversation through sound. That open process gives the album a gentle flow, with melody and texture shifting without abrupt divisions. It is rewarding music for still moments, attentive listening, and an appreciation of small changes in color and space.
