Alice in Chains “Dirt” CD

• Alice in Chains' second studio album, originally released in 1992.
• Produced by Dave Jerden and Alice in Chains.
• Includes Them Bones, Rooster, Would?, and Down in a Hole.

For fans of: Soundgarden, Black Sabbath, and heavy Seattle rock.

Dirt brings together Jerry Cantrell's thick, grinding guitar work and the unmistakable tension between his voice and Layne Staley's. The album moves from short, aggressive songs to slow-burning pieces that let its bleak atmosphere deepen. Its weight comes as much from the vocal harmonies and deliberate pacing as from the volume of the guitars.
